EETC Announces Tender for Development of 600 MW Power Project in West Nile Area

EETC (Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company) announced a tender for the development of 600MW BOO PV Power Project in West Nile Area. EETC calls for local and foreign developers to submit their technical and financial offers to develop a photovoltaic power plant with a total installed capacity of 600MW in West Nile Area under the Build Own Operate (BOO) scheme.

The developer will design, finance, construct, own and operate the plant and EETC will prucahse the produced electricity according to the according to the conditions to be set in the power purchase agreement.
The project land will be granted under a usufruct agreement with NREA (New and Renewable Energy Authority) for 25 years which are the life time of the project.

A bidder must have previous experience to be demonstrated by implementing three Photovoltaic Power Plants with at least a capacity of 100MW each.

Pre-qualification documents can be obtained from EETC for USD 10,000 to be paid to EETC.
Technical and financial offers must be submitted before 14 January 2018.
