Dr. Eman Riad Published her Labor Law Treatise

Our partner Dr. Eman Riad, head of Labor and Employment
team, published her legal treatise on Egyptian Labor Law.
The 350-page treatise comprises four chapters; the first
chapter describes the elements and terms and conditions of
individual employment contracts. Second chapter focuses
on the rights and obligations of the employer and the
employee as well as the work and disciplinary sanction
regulations.

The Third chapter addresses the termination of individual
employment contracts, implications of transfer of business,
collective redundancies, termination notices and severance
compensations.

The fourth chapter focuses on collective bargaining agreements (its parties, terms and
conditions, duration, implications and termination).

The treatise is introduced as a textbook in the Labor & Employment Law class taught by Dr.
Eman at the Faculty of Law of Cairo University during the 2017-2018 Academic Year.
