Ahmed Waheed is an experienced lawyer with over 12 years of experience in litigation and dispute resolution. As a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution Department at Riad & Riad, Ahmed brings extensive expertise in handling complex disputes across various areas of law, including civil and criminal matters. He is highly skilled in drafting civil and criminal claims, preparing appeal memoranda, attending hearings, and representing clients in court-appointed expert sessions.

Ahmed has solid experience in criminal law, particularly in managing criminal investigations, trial representation, and appellate advocacy. He has successfully defended clients in high-stakes criminal cases, demonstrating his ability to navigate the intricacies of criminal proceedings and achieve favorable outcomes.

In addition to his work in litigation, Ahmed is a highly accomplished arbitration lawyer. He has represented clients in numerous arbitration cases before the Cairo Regional Center for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA) and has handled the enforcement and annulment of arbitration awards before Egyptian courts.

Ahmed has also worked on the liquidation of inheritance for foreign nationals in Egypt, showcasing his ability to address complex cross-border legal issues.

Prior to joining Riad & Riad, Ahmed gained valuable experience at the office of the former Minister of Education, Ahmad Gamal Eldin Moussa. In this role, he reviewed contracts related to the establishment of foreign universities in Egypt and managed a variety of other contractual matters.
